The "User Name" field can contain spaces and can thus be used both as a handle and a real name (single or multi-word). The exact text you enter there is what other users will see you as if/when you review episodes or books or write messages.
Neither the user name nor the password is case sensitive, but the user name you enter is stored as-is, so if you want it to look nice, you should use upper case letters where appropriate.
New users will be sent their first-time password via the email address entered above. This email address will
only
be used for the purpose of verifying an existing email address and will
not
be made available to anyone!
Please make sure, that you enter the email address correctly. I have several requests each week that gets bounced back either because the email address doesn't exist, or because the mailbox is full (especially accounts @hotmail, @aol and other free services on the net).
If you wish, you can auto-logon to the sites by leaving the cross/checkmark in the "Auto-Logon" box above. This will store your user name and an encrypted form of the password as a cookie on your machine and will allow you to automatically logon whenever you return to the site. If you do not want this (f.ex. if you are using a public computer), remember to turn it off.
